  16.              This edition is published by Select Consultants Ltd,
  17.        a company incorporated in England, registration number 2297559,
  18.           registered office 37 Blake Road,Stapleford,Nottingham,UK.

  21.          This product is supplied subject to the following terms:

  23.                                Limited Warranty
  24.  
  25.         Select Consultants Ltd. provides the product World Best TSR "as is"
  26.         without warranty of any kind, and does make any claim regarding the
  27.         use, or the results of use, of the software or instructions in
  28.         terms of correctness, accuracy or reliability.
  29.  
  30.         Select Consultants Ltd. permits users to test this product before
  31.         purchase, and it shall be the user's responsibility, before using
  32.         the product for a purpose, to perform sufficient tests to determine
  33.         the product's suitablility for that purpose. The entire risk as to
  34.         the results and performance of the product both during testing and
  35.         in subsequent use shall be born by the user. The user shall assume
  36.         the entire cost of any correction, repair or servicing resulting
  37.         directly or indirectly from using the product.
  38.  
  39.         The above is the only warranty of any kind, either expressed or
  40.         implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of
  41.         merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

  43.         No written or oral advice or information given either by Select
  44.         Consultants Ltd. or by any servant or agent thereof, shall create
  45.         a warranty or in any way increase the scope of this warranty.

  47.         Neither Select Consutants Ltd. nor any servant thereof shall be
  48.         liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental
  49.         damages (including loss of profits, interruption of normal
  50.         activity, or loss of information) arising from the use of or
  51.         inability to use the product even if Select Consutants Ltd. has
  52.         been advised of the possibility of such damages.

  54.         In no event shall Select Consultants Ltd. be liable for damages
  55.         exceeding the cost of a licence to use the software, regardless
  56.         of the form of the claim.
  57.  
  58.         This limited warranty shall be governed and construed according
  59.         to the laws of England.
  60.  
  61.         Select Consultants Ltd. claims that the publication and supply of
  62.         this product takes place in England, in which case the law of
  63.         England grants private consumers (no matter where they are
  64.         resident) specific rights which cannot be limited by contract.
  65.         Where applicable, consumer law (as amended from time to time) may
  66.         override certain limitations stated above, and may extend user's
  67.         rights beyond those granted herein.

  69.         Where it is proven that a transaction took place in another
  70.         territory, the law of that territory may provided similar
  71.         inalienable rights.

  73.                                   Licensing
  74.  
  75.         Copies of this product are not sold outright. Whilst the user or
  76.         another party may own the physical medium on which this copy of
  77.         the software is recorded, ownership of the software itself
  78.         remains with the copyright holder. Provision of this copy does
  79.         not constitute a transfer of title.
  80.  
  81.         All use of this product whether for evaluation or for beneficial
  82.         use, is subject to licence. Such licences are granted in England
  83.         and shall constitute a contract governed by the law of England.

  85.                                  Licence
  86.  
  87.         The term "organisation" shall include every kind of corporation
  88.         and institution. Where an institution is a place of learning, the
  89.         term "servant" shall include all students.
  90.  
  91.         A licence to use one and only one copy of this product solely for
  92.         the purpose of evaluating the product's usefulness or suitability
  93.         is hereby granted to the holder of this copy, provided that the
  94.         holder does not use this copy within an organisation of which
  95.         another member or servant also holds a copy.
  96.  
  97.         This licence permits an organisation to use several copies of the
  98.         product for an experiment to evaluate the product's usefulness or
  99.         suitability, provided that:
  100.            1. the organisation has notified the publisher in writing of:
  101.                   the location of the experiment,
  102.                   the starting date,
  103.                   the number of copies to be used.
  104.            2. the organisation has not previously evaluated the product.
  105.            3. the organisation undertakes either to buy a full licence for,
  106.               or to dispose of, all copies of the product within 90 days of
  107.               the start of the experiment.
  108.  
  109.         The use of the product for benefit or gain is not permitted by this
  110.         licence. A perpetual licence to use this product for every legal
  111.         purpose will be granted on payment of the appropriate fee, except
  112.         that no licence shall be interpreted as giving its beneficiary
  113.         right or permission to examine this product for the purpose of
  114.         creating another product containing any idea, device or method
  115.         embodied in this product.

  117.                                Terms of Contract
  118.  
  119.                   These are the contract terms referred to
  120.                  in the paragraph headed "Terms of Supply".
  121.  
  122.         A holder of a copy of World Best TSR who being aware of the Terms
  123.         of Supply proceeds to use that copy for gain or for any benefit
  124.         beyond the limited benefit of familiarity with World Best TSR,
  125.         becomes bound to pay Select Consultants Ltd. the fee for a licence
  126.         to use the product gainfully.
  127.  
  128.         Select Consultants Ltd agrees to provide, after receipt of the
  129.         licence fee, the licence and all the support and material benefits
  130.         which become due to the licencee from time to time under the terms
  131.         of the licence.

  133.                           End of terms of contract
  134.  
  135.                             Permitted copying
  136.  
  137.         Anyone who holds a copy for the purpose of evaluating the product's
  138.         usefulness may, subject to the restrictions below and provided that
  139.         no charge is made, pass on exact and complete copies of the product
  140.         to others to enable them to evaluate the product, and such copying
  141.         shall not violate the copyright declared above.
  142.  
  143.               Restriction of the right to distribute copies
  144.  
  145.         No-one may distribute copies for gain without the express
  146.         permission of Select Consultants Ltd.
  147.  
  148.         Distribution of World Best TSR by electronic communication in any
  149.         form other than a single compressed file containing the whole
  150.         product is forbidden. Both the compact version designed for
  151.         electronic distribution, and the larger diskette version,
  152.         constitute the full product.
  153.  
  154.         The supply to a third party of any part of this product separately
  155.         from the whole is forbidden.
  156.  
  157.         Except where expressly permitted by the copyright holder in
  158.         writing, modification and/or translation of this product or any
  159.         part thereof is forbidden, as is the incorporation of any part of
  160.         the product into a another product.
  161.  
  162.         The representation of the author as being other than Roger Pollard,
  163.         or of the publisher as being other than Select Consultants Ltd., or
  164.         the alteration of either any text embodied in this product, or the
  165.         name of the whole product, or the name of any part of the product,
  166.         shall create a modified version within the scope of the foregoing
  167.         paragraph. Select Consultants Ltd. reserves the right to initiate
  168.         criminal proceedings in any territory where such violation occurs.

  171.                                 Trademarks
  172.  
  173.         All trademarks acknowledged. Select Consultants Ltd. does not seek
  174.         to benefit directly from the mention of any trademark. Trademarks
  175.         are mentioned only in the course of imparting necessary information.

  177.                                  Revision
  178.  
  179.         Select Consultants Ltd. reserves the right to revise this
  180.         publication without prior notice.

  183.                                 Consumer Law
  184.  
  185.         Select Consultants Ltd. claims that whereas this product is a
  186.         computer program provided as shareware,
  187.  
  188.                1. the product is not ordinary retail merchandise.
  189.  
  190.                2. the method of distribution and licensing does not
  191.                   constitute the provision of goods by mail order.
  192.  
  193.        If either claim is disproven, Select Consultants Ltd. reserves
  194.        the right to withdraw the product from Shareware distribution
  195.        forthwith.

  198.                                Acknowledgement
  199.  
  200.         By proceeding to test, register or use this product, you
  201.         acknowledge that you understand and agree to be bound by the
  202.         terms of these legal notices. You further agree that the above
  203.         licence and limited warranty are the complete and exclusive
  204.         statement of agreement between the parties, superceding all other
  205.         communications and all preceeding proposals and agreements whether
  206.         oral or written.
